 C.C. (me) aka Opossum, born in Punta Gorda, Florida, now living with my beautiful Persian/Russian/Hungarian wife Zsuzsanna in Queensland, Australia. My father (who passed on) was a well-known radio personality (singer, songwriter), way, way back, with over 50 years in public venues. My first experience in making my own music was using an old reel to reel and trying to mix my toy orange guitar (with a drawing of a girl in a grass-skirt on it) with one of my dad's accordions, which I set up on the floor playing somewhat like a pump-organ (as it was slightly bigger than I was). My first recorded vocal around age 5 was "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer", haha.
Presently, we are using a mix of everything around, but primarily keyboards and such played through MIDI adapters and strongly quantized, depending on the part. (The background rhythms and motifs are quantized more than the leads, usually).
I presently own and play - a Daion electric precision bass, Yamaha guitars, accordion, harmonicas, a Hohner "hooter", Yamaha keyboards, an old Moog (which we used to process different sounds and effects through rather than using as an instrument), a beautiful wooden lyre, etc.
My wife's brother Simon performed with the Brisbane-based cover-band known by a few different names, including "Ziggurat" and "Red Henry".
